What types of disabilities do you train service dogs for?
We train service dogs to assist individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, PTSD, Diabetes, and sensory impairments. (Just to name a few)
How long does the service dog training process usually take?
Training is generally estimated to take approximately 2 years due to it being tailored to the dog’s and handler’s unique needs.
Can I train my own dog to become a service dog with your guidance?
Yes, we offer personalized training programs and support for handlers working with their own dogs.
Is there funding for service dogs?
Yes, No, Maybe… It honestly really depends on the disability and what services are available at that time. Please give us a call and we can assist you in locating possible funding.
Where are you located and where does training take place?
We are located in Upstate New York (Kendall, NY) and primarily train around Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, however we train service dogs throughout the state and country! If you’re nearby, we can train in person at your home, at our facility, and in public depending on what stage you are at. If you are not nearby, we have the training and experience to be able to assist you virtually over zoom.
